The next session of Adult Formation, Embodied Spirituality, will begin September 20. We will explore how we can deepen and express our spirituality through a variety of “incarnational practices” that use our bodies and all of our senses to connect us to the Holy. This session will include two Saturday events as well as our usual Wednesday evenings.
On Saturday October 7, from 9 AM - 2 PM, we will be joined by Mtr. Verneda Kelly from Lincoln, who will lead us in a mini retreat on this topic.
On the next Saturday, October 14, we will be joining Norm Melichar for a prayer walk at a local nature area.
On the Wednesdays of the session, (September 20 and 27 and October 11 and 18) we will explore other ways to use our bodies and senses with art, movement and breath to enrich our spiritual connection to the Spirit and the Holy.
Adult formation meets in the Clarkson Center at 5:45 PM for evening prayer, then continues with study from 6-7 PM.
