Our Adult Formation Advent Session continues, starting with evening prayer at 5:45 PM, and continuing with the study from 6-7 PM. We will read and discuss Sabbath as Resistance: Saying No to the Culture of Now, by Walter Bruggeman.

Our 24/7 society of consumption tells us that we live to perform and produce. Bruggeman shows us how keeping the Sabbath allows us to break this cycle to focus on what is truly important: God, other people, all life.
