The community of The Benedictine Way invites you to their Advent Taize Service on Tuesday, Dec. 10 at 7 PM.
Stop by the cathedral at 4 PM on Friday, Dec. 13 for a half-hour holiday performance by the Central High School Choir - start your Saturday merriment while parking is still good!
Trinity will sponsor a special Cantare! concert on Sunday, Dec. 15 at 3 PM at Victory Apartments, 825 Dorcas Street. Entry is free, and donations are optional.
At this retreat we will explore Benedictine Spirituality and Contemplative Prayer as a source of stability in our lives. Join us at St. Benedict’s House, 3014 Belvedere Blvd., 10 AM-2 PM on Saturday, Sept. 28. All are then invited to a social event from 3-5 PM.
On Sunday, July 28, we will be joined by Deacon Teresa Houser and the women of Magdalene Omaha! Deacon Teresa will preach at both services, and Thistle Lights products will be available for purchase in the Clarkson Center.
On the day of the Heartland Pride Parade, July 13, Trinity Cathedral will host an Open House from 9 AM - 12 PM to provide parade goers with Episcopal hospitality. Join us out of the sun for beverages, treats, and time spent in a beautiful space. Our restrooms will be open.
Trinity Cathedral will march with the Episcopal Diocese of Nebraska in the 2024 Heartland Pride Parade on Saturday, July 13! The parade begins at 10 AM and ends around noon at the CHI Health Center. Trinity will also have a booth at the festival following the parade.
Members of the LGBTQ+ community and allies are invited to Trinity’s Third Annual Pride Mass! This joyful celebration of the Holy Eucharist will occur on Wednesday, July 10 at 7 PM at the cathedral (113 N. 18th St., Omaha). Our Cathedral Choir will be joined by guest singers from across Greater Omaha to lead us in music, and the service will use the Book of Common Prayer Expansive Language Text. All are welcome to receive communion at Trinity.
The Cantare! vocal ensemble invites you to their 2nd annual fundraising event on Thursday, May 16 from 6:30-8:30 PM at First Unitarian Church (3114 Harney St).
Trinity is excited to again partner with Kountze Memorial Lutheran Church for our joint service on the Feast of the Ascension.
On Sunday, April 14 at 5 PM, Trinity is excited to collaborate with St. Matthew’s, Lincoln and the Religious Studies programs of UNO and UNL to host a book talk by Sarah McCammon, author of The Exvangelicals: Loving, Living, and Leaving the White Evangelical Church.
Peggy Wolverton, one of Trinity’s organists, will present a recital on the three-manual Austin pipe organ on Sunday, February 25 at 3 PM in the cathedral nave, including the works of J.S. Bach, Johann Pachelbel, Johannes Brahms, Franz Liszt and Robert Lind.
Weather permitting, Trinity clergy members will be available at the Gene Leahy Mall (1001 Douglas Street) to distribute “Ashes-To-Go” at 1:30 PM on Ash Wednesday, February 14.
Trinity Cathedral is excited to welcome the Central High School Choir once again to the cathedral for a performance on Tuesday, February 13 at 2 PM.
Trinity will host a Recovery Celebration Service, (aka Recovery Eucharist) on the evening of Wednesday, February 7 at 7 pm in the cathedral nave. All are welcome to attend.
Trinity is excited to host this year’s annual Interfaith Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, November 19 at 6 PM in the cathedral nave. We will be joined by our siblings in faith from Episcopal churches, ELCA congregations, and the Tri-Faith initiative, among others.
A group from Trinity will be walking in Tri-Faith’s second annual United We Walk fundraiser, a one mile loop around the Tri-Faith Commons (13136 Faith Plaza, Omaha) from 3-6 PM on Sunday, September 10. You can learn more and register for the event on Tri-Faith’s website.
Because this year’s parade is near the cathedral, Trinity will host an open house from 9 AM - 12 PM on the day of the parade, July 15. We will provide refreshments, outdoor seating, and access to bathrooms to parade goers. All are welcome!
All are welcome at Trinity’s Second Annual Pride Mass! Join us the Wednesday before Heartland Pride (July 12) at 7 PM for a worship service designed to welcome, support, and affirm the LGBTQ+ community.
From 8 - 9 AM on Wednesday, February 22, Trinity Cathedral will provide Ashes-To-Go outside the cathedral at the four corners of 18th & Capitol, 17th & Capitol, 17th & Dodge, and 18th & Dodge. All are welcome.
Join us at First United Methodist Church (7020 Cass Street, Omaha, NE 68132) for this year’s Interfaith Thanksgiving Service. The service will be held on Sunday, November 20 from 5-7 PM, with a light reception to follow. Child care will be available.
On Saturday, September 10, we will return to Victory Apartments (825 Dorcas St) to distribute eggs to low-income veterans. We will gather at the apartments from 9:30-11:00 AM. This is an excellent opportunity for parishioners and youth to provide direct care for our local veterans.

Come join Nebraska's Inspector General of Corrections, Doug Koebernick, and the Episcopal Diocese of Nebraska's Balancing the Scales of Justice for a conversation about Nebraska's correctional system. Following Doug's presentation, participants will have the opportunity to hear from a panel of nonprofits, service organizations, and ministries that serve returning citizens and currently incarcerated Nebraskans. The event will take place in the cathedral nave, and live on our Trinity Cathedral YouTube Channel.
Trinity Cathedral - along with other local Episcopal churches - will participate in Heartland Pride 2021! The parade will take place on Saturday, July 10 at 10:00am in the Old Market, with a festival following that at Baxter Arena.
Trinity’s annual blood drive with the American Red Cross is Saturday, February 29. It will take place from 7:00am-1:00pm in Gardner Hall. Walk-ins are welcome!
Each year, we celebrate a Recovery Eucharist in observance of the feast of the Reverend Samuel Shoemaker, an Episcopal priest who gave critical support to the founders of Alcoholics Anonymous and helped shape the spiritual wisdom of the recovery movement. This is an opportunity to celebrate the spiritual gifts the movement brings to all of us, offering support and solidarity with those in recovery.

Lights for Liberty is a nationwide call to action to protest the inhumane treatment of people in ICE detention centers and to demand the basic human rights of all asylum seekers, both children and adults. This is an opportunity to join in solidarity, learn next steps for meaningful ways to help those in need, and to shine light on this urgent issue.
The Omaha-area Episcopal Churches invite you to walk with us and scores of other churches and businesses in the 2019 Heartland Pride parade. The parade starts at 10:00 am on Saturday, June 29th, in the Old Market, starting at 15th and Harney. The route is about 10 blocks. Please gather at 9:30 on the west side of the W. Dale Clark Library on 15th Street between Douglas and Farnam. Look for the Episcopal banner! LGBTQ Episcopalians and straight friends and allies have been participating in this event for ten years, as a statement and reminder that the Episcopal Church welcomes everyone, and that “God’s love for all” means all. Join us as we celebrate our churches as truly welcoming and compassionate communities of faith and demonstrate the meaning of hospitality and the wide embrace of God’s love.
Trinity Cathedral will offer an opportunity for prayer and silent mediation on Election Day, Tuesday, November 6
The time we will spend together will be completely non-partisan. There will be no discussion of candidates, campaigns, or issues. We will simply offer our prayers and engage in meditation.
The vigil was developed as a way of offering a sanctuary of peace in the midst of a tense time, and helping us all to offer our lives, our leaders, and our nation into God’s care.
